Vistara, the joint venture of Tata Group and Singapore Airlines, is opening a sales office in Kolkata. The airline will also add a third daily direct flight between Delhi and Kolkata, taking the number of flights from Kolkata to five.
The new flight will cater to the additional demand on this sector during the festive season. The airlines is also set to introduce chicken kabiraji, kasha mangsho, kasha aloo dum and ghee bhaat apart from sweets like darbesh and chhanar payesh on their flights as part of the festive menu.
