Sealdah Metro Station will look like Colosseum of Rome

The new metro station being built at Sealdah will look like Rome’s Colosseum. Considering the importance of this station on the route, the metro authorities wanted to give it a historical twist keeping in mind that Kolkata itself is more than 300 years old. The station will soon be complete.

It is considered that Sealdah Metro Station will be taking a huge load once it is operational. Keeping this in mind the station will have 3 platforms, instead of 2 and also 18 escalators to control the crowd.
