So here is some good news for music and food loving Bengalis. The iconic Hard Rock Café that started in London as a theme restaurant in 1971 and was later sold to a US company will be opening an outlet at the famous Park Mansion on Park Street. Park Mansion itself is a century old heritage building that was developed by Armenian jute merchant TM Thaddeus and is now owned by Apeejay group.
Another popular coffee and burger chain to hit the city soon is Starbucks, the coffee house chain found in Seattle in 1971.
