Let’s stand by the Indian and state government in this hour of crisis and donate to help the gov-ernments fight the Corona menace that seems to be spiraling everyday. As many superstars and players and industrialists are donating to both the Prime Minister and Chief Minister’s COVID funds that will go into a plethora of social services as well as in buying equipment, quarantine fa-cilities and much more, each and every citizen can come forward for the cause.
Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee has shown us the way. She has donated ten lakh, partly in the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund and partly in West Bengal State Emergency Relief Fund. She has been Member of Parliament seven times, yet never taken her due pension. As a Chief Minister she does not take her salary. So all this money due to her will now go to the service of the nation.
