A class IX student of Malda has donated the entire sum of Rs 20,000 to her school for its development. Debolina Ghosh of Mothabari High School won the first position at a state level poetry writing competition. She had written a poem applauding the Kanyashree project.
The school was overwhelmed at her gesture. School headmistress Aditi Chattopadhyay said a drinking water plant will be built with her donation. Debolina is a true Kanyashree.
