The fishermen community of Shankarpur near Digha were in for a surprise yesterday. Their nets fished out remains of a missile like item, instead of getting a big catch of hilsa, that are usually netted during this part of the year.
The tail fins and metal pieces found from the sea have the words HAL Bangalore and Aerospace stamped on them, which indicates they might be the debris of the tested missiles that shook Digha over the weekend.
