Three Bengali films pick up National Awards this year

Srijit Mukherjee’s Ek Je Chhilo Raja won the Best Bengali Film Award this year, while Indraadip Dasgupta’s Kedara won the special Jury Award. Dasgupta was ecstatic with the win. He is also happy as Arijit Singh won the Best Male Playback singer award for Binte Dil Misriya Mein. Yet he feels Kaushik Ganguly and Anirban Sengupta should have got awards too. 

The Best Screenplay Award went to Tarikh for its dialogues penned by Churni Ganguly. Congratulations to all the three directors for bagging such prestigious awards at the national level.
