This pujo enjoy a new menu on Indian Railways
If you are travelling on trains this pujo, get set to enjoy a new and special menu. IRCTC has directed managers of all station food plazas to give customers a feel of the celebrations associated with pujo through special dishes.
Traditional dishes and complimentary desserts will also be served even on trains like Rajdhani and Duronto. We just hope the quality of food will be maintained, specially with the food quality going down drastically over the last few years on most expensive trains of India and passengers often falling sick due to stale or under-cooked food. A look at what you can expect on the pujo days:
• Saptami: Shahi murg/ paneer korma, moong dal, ghee, sulata pulao, rotis and ice cream
• Ashtami: Chicken/ Paneer rezala, dal makhana, Sabz pulao, roti and ice cream
• Navami: Murgh Do Piazza, Matar paneer, mixed dal, peas pulao, roti and ice cream
• Dashami: Makhanwali murg, paneer, chana dal with coconut, ghee bhat, gulab jamin, paratha
