Tajpur- Bengal in a new light
There’s a reason why sunsets are timeless and a constant encouragement for poets and writers, as they are for romantic souls. Sunsets are indeed inspiring, for they not just talk about the ending of a day, they also indicate a new beginning after darkness, they are the messengers of the next sunrise. Mahatma Gandhi once had observed this power of sunset and said: “When I admire the wonders of a sunset or the beauty of the moon, my soul expands in the worship of the creator.”
Embracing the essence of dusk
I probably had the opportunity to enjoy such a dreamy and mesmerizing sunset recently at Tajpur, on the shores of Bay of Bengal. At Tajpur we planned to stay close to the beach, as close as possible, for we wished to enjoy the play of waves and sunrays. Nature did not let us down. It opened up in all its splendour!

The lonesome boat
The starfish
Twilight fell and the sky turned into light
