Stand by the children of Bengal

Amidst the shout-out to 'Save Bengal,’ many have been asking me to provide a relevant platform where they can contribute for those affected by the devastation.

I strongly recommend 'Kishalay Foundation' -working towards improving the learning outcome of early education in Rural India and basic preventive healthcare for rural people. Promoting Early Education and Health in rural Bengal with a network of 12 learning hub centres across Sunderban region having presence in Godkhali, Gosaba, Dulki etc.

Spearheaded by Biplab Das, the foundation is doing a phenomenal work with the Sunderban children. 

If you wish to make a difference to these children, many of whose shelters and belongings are in jeopardy, do put in whatever you can. 

Immediate objectives:

1. Immediate relief is to provide ration, water packets and electrolyte packets to flood centres where families are assembled who have lost their homes.

2. Reach out to islands where we have centres inundated with saline water, supply ration food, these have to continue for some time till embankments are repaired.

3. Carry out ration and nutrition activities throughout all 24 centres where Kishalay Foundation is working.
