Quarantine centre at Ffort Raichak! Business tycoon Harsh Neotia gives his resort

Chairman of Ambuja Neotia Group, Bengal’s Harsh Neotia goes the Mahindra way. Just like Mahindra group had offered their luxury resorts a few days ago for building quarantine facilities, owner of the Neotia group of companies, Harsh Neotia has given Ffort Raichak on the Ganges, near Kolkata to build a quarantine centre. With number of COVID-19 positive cases increasing beyond 500 in India and the state government anticipating the need of more quarantine facilities in the days to come, this move by Neotia is definitely praiseworthy. 

The luxury resort Ffort Raichak has 30 suites. The resort has already been handed over to the SDO of South 24 Parganas and the state government will start necessary arrangements there needed to turn it into a quarantine facility. Our Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is constantly trying to set up more centres and isolation wards keeping in mind the possible grim future if it comes. Harsh Neotia told the press: “It is very essential to build up infrastructure needed for medical emergencies like recent Corona. Hence we are trying to help the state government by giving up our resorts etc. This is the least we can do.”
