Mother Dairy shuns plastic packaged milk through ‘Token Milk!’

Milk in plastic packages also need to be shunned! Yes, if one has to make this world Plastic Free, there is no other alternative, though it was easy to use plastic pouches and carry them home. Mother Dairy has stepped in through a new scheme called Token Milk. They are also encouraging customers to bring their own containers and queue up at their innumerable Milk Kiosks where machine vended milk is available.

This milk also comes at a lower price than the packaged ones and hence Mother Dairy has received a huge response in the past one month and their profits have also rose. They are also bringing in ‘Token Milk,’ where one will be given tokens as per prior purchase and the milk will be distributed as home delivery. This is indeed a correct step towards making India Plastic Free by 2022.
