BREAKING! Kolkata’s IIM gets top rank in India, 17th in the world

Out of 100 best business schools in the world surveyed, Kolkata’s IIM has got the top position in management ranking. Not just that, it has ranked 17th among the best business schools of the world. In the survey conducted by Financial Times Masters, an expert in B-School analysis, IIM Ahmedabad ranked 21st and IIM Bengaluru is 44th. Last year IIM Kolkata’s rank was 23rd. This is indeed a big leap and a great achievement for this prestigious management school located in Joka.

The criteria considered for this ranking include number of students in the MBA course, career options, marks obtained by students, number of female students, teachers and staff, international placement, PhD scholars and facilities, faculty and so on. In almost every block, IIM Kolkata has been a topper. Every faculty member of the institution are indeed happy at this achievement.
