CM Mamata Banerjee prepares rural Bengal in advance to fight Corona

The deadly COVID-19 knows no borders and boundaries, no caste or creed, no age. Keeping this in mind, Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee has ordered all local and block administrations of rural Bengal to start awareness programmes about Corona Virus in villages immediately. This is a big step, considering the speed at which the virus might spread in rural Bengal.

Hence steps should be taken in advance and our Chief Minister is a responsible visionary to anticipate that. In every gram panchayat, people are going around with microphones declaring how to beat the virus through social distancing, hand washing, avoiding crowds and other measures. She has mobilized the entire machinery to start this awareness drive as Bengal fights the Corona scare with a Lockdown in its cities and towns.
