Bengal government received winning praise from FIFA’s Javier Ceppi, director of FIFA Under-17 World Cup. The state government indeed did a praiseworthy job by refurbishing the Salt Lake stadium and its adjoining areas. A business delegation from Bengal National Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BNCCI) hopes to leverage the global football community’s spotlight on the city. They will be seeking business from the organization who runs the world’s most popular football league. They also hope to convince the world’s richest club to undertake a CSR venture in football crazy Bengal.
The delegation is slated to meet La Liga officials today and showcase Bengal’s recent success story to bring in business to the state.
