British chef Angus Denoon fell in love with jhalmuri, the favourite snack of Kolkata while shooting a film about the wide variety of scrumptious street food of the city. He closely observed various people, mastered the art of making perfect Jhalmuri. Angus returned to UK and gave up his job as a chef. For the last fifteen years, he has been serving the snack in various Asian neighbourhoods of London. You can also see him whipping up jhalmuri outside the venues of World Cup cricket venues. Angus recently came down to Kolkata and set up his jhalmuri express counter at Ekdalia Road, the favourite boutique café of the city.
