West Bengal Government to recruit 32,000 teachers this year

As many as 32,000 primary and upper primary teachers to get jobs by this year in West Bengal. This is indeed good news in the times of Pandemic when across India many are losing jobs. Here in Bengal on the contrary they are getting jobs. Hon’ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at a press conference declared that by Durga Puja this year, around 14,000 upper primary teachers and 10,500 primary teachers will be inducted. They will be given their appointment letters soon.

By March 2022, around 7,500 primary teachers will further get appointment, thus generating thousands of jobs in the education sector. These teachers will be inducted in various government schools across different districts of West Bengal. The CM has also clarified before the press that all candidates who will get the letters will be as per merit and their performance in various examinations. There is no place for lobbying and getting government jobs through the back door in West Bengal. This adds to the clean image of the state, as the state government is out to prove a corruption free recruitment process.
