Haldia dock complex is set to get a new liquid terminal with a capacity of 2.5 million tonne annually. It will handle liquid cargo products, like edible oils, LPG and paraxylene. Expected completion and operation to start in 2020.
This is indeed a great news as it is one of the largest green field projects of the area. It will come up at Shalukhhali, on the west bank of River Hooghly and is about 15 km north east of Haldia dock complex.
