The first day of Rathayatra is also known as Gundichayatra and is considered extremely auspicious. On this day, Lord Jagannath comes in the mode of Shree Krishna of Vrindavan Dham. Visiting the main temple for ten times is equal to one-time darshan of Gundichayatra.
