“I compose my music and then try to take my film to the level of my music….” In Satyajit Ray’s words, he used to compose music for his films first and then embarked on the film making. In 1984 while Ray’s movie Ghare Baire, based on Rabindranath Tagore’s short story was being made, there was a session of music arrangement at the HMV Recording Studio.
